@Kayriel that's not why they do "kai" or other sounds. They do it for the same reason tennis player yell, it allows you to exhaust oxygen from your lungs which allows you to hit with full strength, a lot of sports do this when they do a crucial move; shooting a penalty in football, jumping to shoot in basketball, etc.

This manga suffers the same issues which many shounen do, yell at enemies while sneaking up on them... If anyone has done any marathon running you know that talking and not managing your breathing will cause you to suffer side pains and short breath....

@Heidi - clearly, fantasy assassins can't hope to work line mundane modern-world assassins. Not when your targets shrug ordinary gunfire because they spent some time leeching off exp off adventurer parties.
More importantly, assassin duels aren't standard work, but Tuatha De Danaan family has all reasons to expect assassins sent after them, and have to fight them off.

Actually, there are personal anecdotes out there by various women who admitted to having not only hit puberty in their preteen years (say 10-12), but went through such extreme breast growth that many of them had head-sized breasts by the time they were 14-16, which naturally came with such complications as overtaxing their still-developing musculoskeletal structure that those who didn't have reduction surgery in time suffered permanent deformations to their shoulder blades and/or spines that force them to hunch forward to one extent or another lest they suffer excruciating pain (presumably from their misshapen bones pressing against each other in very bad ways).

Bottom line is that surprisingly, oppai lolis as depicted in most manga and anime (barring the decidedly impossible ones such as Komoe from Eiken) are more or less realistic when it comes to how big they can get at such a young age, they just gloss over the problems that such a thing should entail... which is also applicable to most huge-breasted adult-sized women in fiction to begin with, so that's just an extension of an already existing phenomenon.

Also, this is not only an animanga world, but one where magic is a normal part of overall existence. You can easily chalk up any remaining "minor" discrepancies (such as Talt rapidly growing in a mere two years from an emaciated 10-year-old girl to a healthy 12-year-old girl who has an extremely busty and curvy figure that most women twice her age would kill for) to the ambient magic within the environment.
