It's probably normal for them to 'raise' fish to eat considering they don't talk (tho if the wife thought it was a pet there are prolly other sea creature pets oh well)
but inb4 the 'fishing bait' tastes better than however many months of "raising" a creature to be a gourmet meal XD

This is the first time I've ever seen a justified arrest of the main character of a story due to an accident. Obviously she meant no harm, but is still guilty of all the charges and innocent at the same time. I've never imagined for that to even be possible. This is a crazy comedy of genius that I never thought could possibly exist. I don't know of any other stories that portray a main character being both guilty and innocent of crimes due to an accident.

When I first saw her get arrested (back when this wasn't fan translated in English) I thought it was just because of her being a human. And maybe the guards thought they were kidnapped just because she was a human due to them not trusting humans. Also I didn't know they were clones instead of twins. I can only read English, so I didn't know what was really going on back then.

Yeah, but look at it from the octopus' perspective: you've been raised with great love and care. So much attention that your owner's partner gets jealous of you, to the point of "kidnapping" you.

Then, once freed, you hear that you're going in the pan, and all of that "love and care" were just preparations.

You'd be quite shocked.
