That... is actually an interesting idea, one that I don't think was ever said, but despite having read a lot of the comment sections on this manga... I can't say I know everything people have said.

Sorry if I sounded pretentious with my choice of words, I just wanted to know if someone else found more clues if that was the case. Until now all the transported people that came from the present era to the Segoku jidai are Shizuko, her uncle, and the oldman.

All of them were transported while they were in the proximity to Shizuko´s grandfather lands (no idea wath could mean aside from convenience for the story), and also in the case of uncle, he is the only that went from the past to the future and also the one wich got amnesia after travel in time (and only traveling to the future), so for me this is foreshadowing to Nobunaga´s traveling to the future at the end of the story.

But this is pretty mich all I got to support my theory, after Shizuko started to participate in war related affairs I didnt found nothing relevant, I though in some moment her sister memories as a fan of war history and weapons would become more relevant but nothing at all. Im kinda specting some type of mini reveal of her sister at some point traveled to the past for a short time, returned and that was ingnited her interest in war history. But honestly Im kinda forcing my own writing preferences with this last idea so dont take it too seriously

Itd be a convenient explanation for why her grandfather was multi-disciplined and had a wide range of friends and acquaintances in various fields.

Not really since a lot of Samurai had spy networks (The Tokugawa with the Iga Hattori and the Hojo with the Koga Fuuma) and were led by Samurai leaders.

I think it's moreso that the vast majority of these spies were commoners and sengoku society was very hierachical so the compensation was probably skewed. I'm only speaking from conjecture though.

Yep, I have a friend who used to be a real clubber in her twenties - I used to joke about how often she appeared in club scene photos every month.

She didn’t stop drinking after breaking her leg, drunkenly slamming a car door on it, but she did stop after spending two days in hospital from alcohol poisoning.

She’s now a regional manager in a multinational.

Speaking of which, I wonder if his older brother Nobuyuki will marry Tadakatsu's daughter in this lifetime. Historically he was supposed to serve under the Tokugawa to preserve the Sanada bloodline. Also, what was that retainer thinking really, taking him the hostage back. It's no wonder why they were being pursued by both sides.
