Ah,a newb has joined our ranks on the high seas,welcome aboard,matey...in fact,it seems you don't even recall that she has already mentioned her age in the early chapters.

For pictures and GIFs,use the "Insert image" button at the top edge of the writing box,between "Insert link" and "Smilies".

You can only put image URLs(no uploading from your computer),of which some websites will prevent the image URLs from being shared(especially Reddit),so if you're really dedicated,use Imgur.

For GIFs,they need to be actual GIFs(Imgur turns them into videos,so no go there),and your most stable source will be Tenor,if you're on Tenor with the GIF you want in front of you,open it in a new tab,go to said tab,then open it to a new tab again,that will get you the link to actually use.

You can also adjust the image displayed size by draggig the corners after you click on the image.

For videos,use the "Media" button between the "Smilies" and "Quote" button,and due to many changes,only a proper YouTube link will work,which means none of that shortened mobile link crap("//youtu.be"),none of that shorts crap("//youtube.com/shorts/",replace that with "//www.youtube.com/watch?v=" to make it a normal video),and especially not that stupid tracker they put after videos("?si=" or "&pp=" plus the junk after it),you can use the "&t=" to timestamp a video.

Also,some sites(especially Discord)will allow an image to embed,but after a day,the image link will no longer be active,hence no can see it after that.

i've actually been here a while but never bothered to use the forum until recently, also yeah i tried using tenor and imgur with image and insert media and it wasn't working. idk if the specific gif is bugged or something.
