This ending doesn't feel fulfilling, but what I don't get is the energy of the poor reactions to it. "THE JAPANESE DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE ROMCOMS! KOREA IS OUR ONLY HOPE, NOW!" "I'M GONNA GO READ THE PORN DOUJINS FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE!"

Like, it was never that serious. Ending's even got some people taking up weird and vitriolic anti-Japanese prejudices. For what purpose?

It's just the korean deepthroaters, ignore them for now but do hope that one day they would fuck off to somewhere else to read their trashy manhwa.

On the actual relationship I can't say I care, it never feels at any point like Takeda actually fell in love for her

No Takeda's POV about his feelings, no Takeda's backstory, no kiss, no everyone else's reactions and opinions, no grampa's endorsement, no Sakurai/Kazama progress, no Natsumi/Yuuto resolution...and of course, no banana/hamster (that one is asking a bit much, but still!)

So all it took was to her say the magic phrase and to reenact the restaurant scene after work and its done. Really underwhelming ending. Was pretty while lasted tho.
Hopefully there will be a few extras to wrap everyone else stories.

I quit reading like 100 chapters ago since the story wasn't going anywhere. Read the last few chapters only to see that yeah, the story hadn't gone anywhere. Absolute cliché plot twist, no relationship, no nothing. Those are supposed to be adults, yet they have no "adult issues". Basically just a high school rom com at an office.

Bruh, I get the ending was bad, but this webcomic was not that good to begin with (Let's not forget this was a fetish fest, albeit a soft one).

You absolutely nailed it. Either they end in an abrupt, unpolished mess with the side characters thrown into the garbage like this one; or they drag on for 200+ chapters without any plot development or any resolution (Yankee JK Kuzuhana-Chan, Rent-a-GF, and many others).
At least Nanashi promised an upcoming epilogue chapter for "Nagatoro" to be released with Vol. 20 in August. Here's hoping he delivers as far as tying up loose ends with the side characters, or expands on them with another spinoff manga series.

The Nagatoro ending sucked too, but at least the timeline was coherent (team Gothicc lolita, btw)
