Sadly in Japan 16-18 are free range and while looked down upon for liking... its not a crime. So while we think he is a pedo in Japan he is just a normal dude. To be fair he was pretty clear he was not going to try anything.
I sure hope this turn wholesome and no romantic feelings develop cause its kinda cringe how authors bait readers with this age gap thing when it could've been a fine story had everything stayed clearly legal. It's leaving a bad taste when I read an interesting romance manga but I can't fully commit to liking it cause it has this weird gray area of it's not fine but technically it's fine kinda thing. Guess I'm just not the target audience

Well, my curiosity is sated. I was curious about what it could be and got exactly what was on the tin. Not my thing.

When I heard the high school part I was like "NOOOOOO, THIS WAS SUCH A FUN PREMISE!! WHY'D YOU HAVE TO PEDO ALL OVER THE PLACE?!"
and there's only one chapter put rn so I'm like "Ehh, I'll finish it I guess, but if it's going where I think it is, I'm out."
and then it didn't :D

I mean, just from pure context you can see how the term feels off, later a quick jisho search will tell you that it's a meme. Feels weird seeing a scanlation cleaned and typeset so well but the translation so unpolished. Not trying to put you down, just that if there's a translation you are unsure, it's not a bad idea to ask around, or have someone with better japanese that doesn't have the time to translate to at least proofread it. Anyway, I'll be following this manga. Seems like a more humorous and less stressful version of Higehirou.

There are too many penis jokes. They can be funny, in moderation, but they totally overdid it here.
The dialogue at his house was really awkward with the wrong pacing. Should have been played more comedically or ironically or been way slower. I am still confused over how much was his delusion and how much was actual discussion about her willingly submitting to him and him potentially unleashing his "spear". A bad look for both of the characters. Worse for MC as he looks like he is set up as a "good guy" senpai.

I like the concept of having a different IRL and RL relationship while living together and the talking through text but overall not a great Ch. 1.

Not really sure this is my kinda thing, but I guess it could possibly, maybe, get interesting...... The inclusivity element seems a bit tacked on just for the sake of it though. Gonna have to give it a chapter or two more to see for sure where the story goes.

In any case, thanks for the new series. There were some minor awkward sentences and such here and there but otherwise seemingly fine. (y)

Guys I know it's not the norm in this kind of manga, but senior years at high school can be 18 (that would be a little better I would think)

自宅警備員 (security officer of one's own home) is actually a joke name for someone jobless. Like, when you ask about what someone does for a living, if you answer "he's guarding his own home", it means he's jobless and stays at home, so basically a waste of space.

It's not a "housemaid" or an actual "home security guard", so hiring someone to be your 自宅警備員 is actually nonsense and that's the joke. Totally lost in translation.

The funs of online gaming. Kinda relatable outside of actually meeting online IRL (we did joke about it a few times tho). Long ago was part of a guild for a 17+ game for like, 4 years. Figured everyone was an adult.

Then one day I the person I talked to most just threw themself on the keyboard saying stuff like "I'm 18 bitches!". Clearly wasted. By this time I was like 5 years outta college.

So yea, kinda made me a bit more wary so I avoid a situation like this lol.

As for the dialogue in page 6, Miso katsu is a variation on tonkatsu famous in Nagoya.
The superior is joking around inviting him to eat something, but since it's a specialty from another city, the MC (probably correctly) assumes he's going on a business trip.
