Okay, that's the last chapter of volume 4. Volume 5 should be out by mid-September. Ideally, I want to wait until it's released to start scanlating again, but we'll see.
Edit: It turns out Volume 5 is scheduled to be released in October :notlikethis:

The dean who specifically makes sure one group of people are constantly treated poorly, threatens the teachers about evil mages, and probably also picked the flower that killed Luca and have it appear again to torment Shao? Coincidentally he only joins as the future now says they aren't becoming evil mages like...

The discriminatory practices started with the school's founding and while the translation was pretty consistent in referring to the new guy as the dean, they said the discriminatory policy is from the principal.

The two terms are sometimes used interchangeably, but more often than not, they're two different positions with two different sets of responsibilities; that said, a dean is also often slightly higher ranked than a principal, so it could still 100% be the dean who was originally responsible for turning Class D into evil mages and he was just taking advantage of the principal's rather scummy policy to prey on them.

So we all agree the Dean is the one who lead Class D into being evil mages, right?
I think the Vice principal could also be the one. He seems disgusted about the current system so he might want to do something radical to change it.

Though the Dean looks like the most suspicious to the point it almost seems like bait.

Them teaching them to be lone wolves and not accept cooperation is not applicable to the outside of school life. Nearly everything need cooperation. Those little that does not need tend to be mundane and safe and whose failure can only lead to minor inconvenience or require cooperation.

The Dean being evil is too obvious, it has to be a red herring right? Also that Class B teacher is an asshole, trying to get Class D in trouble to save face, he sucks as a person and a teacher.
