Personally, I hope Asahi's arc ends this manga series and not let it drag out for years on end. We really don't want a repeated of a certain manga that shall remain unnamed for... reasons.

Everything looks fine for them so far. When's the shoe gonna drop?

Seems fairly certain that the "shoe" will be on the lesbian friend (sorry, its been a while I forgot her name) and not our main boy. The initial bombshell of Kanefumi being older than Asahi basically was brushed aside as a wacky misunderstanding so I doubt they'll bring that up again since neither of them really care and it isn't like he's secretly a 40 year old twink, he's college aged.

I predict the lesbian friend going to the mixer to "test" Hina's chosen partner will lead to her eventually asking Asahi to pretend to be her boyfriend so Hina stops pestering her by trying to set her up with other guys. From there it could go several ways but I could see Hina ending up falling for Asahi cause he's the classic himbo archetype and then shenanigans ensue. In the process of pretending to be her boyfriend, Kanefumi will see them on a "date" but not realize the ploy and approach them thinking he's just hanging out with friends again (since we've established now that he's aware of their relationship as platonic) and then Hina or her own boyfriend will say something about them being gay and lesbian friend will lose patience and out herself.

Or who knows, maybe this will be a relatively drama free arc. I thought I remember the author saying this one would be a bit lighter this time around but I'm not 100% sure.

This arc is kinda underwhelming after heavy storm from 1st & 2nd arc but still enjoy & look forward to it nonetheless. These past 8 months I kept checking for the continuation so...
THANK YOU FOR PICKING THIS UP 😭😭😭🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💞💞💞

Being LGBT is not a mental illness and multiple organizations disproved such narrow view. By being homophobic, you do despise LGBT people. Don't pretend that ''you don't despise them'', because you do. Lacking of empathy is a skill issue, do better.
Don't waste your breath. Those people like to provoke and be contrarian in bad faith to rile up others. Best to just report and ignore them. Leave them to their sad, miserable existence.

Thanks for picking this up! Though I do hope you'll be callous enough to the shitshow that is bound to happen in the comments here :dogkek:
