I hope we don't get the typical scene where they let go and try to cover up their relationship. It'll be more interesting if Asahi owns up to it, though it's probably more drama if he hides it to his friends, which makes the boyfriend feel hurt.

I said this before in a previous chapter, can't expect a highschooler handle this sensitive topic that school barely educate them, let alone their parents.

Oh absolutely, I just felt the way he and his expressions were drawn in the previous chapter made him look very suspicious. Based on my interpretation of those + the words, I thought he was going to be purposefully malicious, not simply accidentally insensitive.
