I still think people are being a bit too hard on her. This isn't what she signed up for, and you can't really expect teenagers to understand what others who have experienced something like this what they've been through.

Well look at the bright side

We get to know early that she is not a keeper, and move on, and have this as a lesson, that you can't go pouring your heart and past out to just any random girl when you just meet her twice

But really unless she goes and tells everyone she knows about his past, this is not that bad, it sucks yes, but he can recover from the incoming blow that will be his first girlfriend victim blaming him, and thinking that he is filthy for being raped

this is one reason why rape (and especially underage rape) is crueler than one might realize at first.
