she never said anything about "you probably liked it". Only thing she said about him is about "you could have escaped". Idk where you saw that, but the thing youre talking about was only ever in her head

"Was it really against your will"
"You are a guy so was it really difficult to go against her"

I assume you have some basic level of media literacy, what do the above 2 sentences imply?

Ashashi is the most based character in this manga. Like, Twintail was defending her friend and isn't 100% wrong, and hell Kaede doesn't know how sheltered she was by her and is basically convinced from a young age that sexual thoughts are repulsive. But the fact that Asahi was not taking shit from this girl makes him my favorite character by a country mile.

this chapter just got me so angry so I apalogize in advance for this rant gcjsbsjsbb

what the fuck does the friend mean by Tsubasa's been hurt plenty of times too? other than their recent fight, the only time Seto has 'hurt' Tsubasa was when he got triggered by the old friend and slapped her hand away. where'd they pull that bs from?

"He's the one who pushed me away first!" FUCK YOU TSUBASA. what reaction did you expect after telling a literal victim that maybe they actually enjoyed what happened to them 🙃

they need to grow far apart from each but I doubt author-san would give us space to breathe 💀

So she asks him to tell her his bavkstory cus her friends advised her to do that, he says everything, she's fine initially. Then she has repulsive thoughts about how he as a man could have just not had that done to him and thinks he just allowed it to willingly happen to him. She rejects his touch, thinks of his "filthy manly parts" and runs away from him. He follows her, she tells him she's having uncomfortable thoughts about this whole thing and she hates it, he apologises. She then says to his face that he as a man could have just not had that done to him and pretty much insinuates that he was a willing participant of this because he's a man. He then rebukes her and apologises for not meeting her expectations of what he is meant to be in her eyes and again, she runs away from him and leaves him in a vulnerable state.

So why on earth is she saying that she is the one that is rejected by him? She let her prejudiced thoughts consume her and she was the one who was running away from him twice. And then how on earth could her friend say that he was trauma dumping on her and hurt her. That's just wild, smh

Bro, she and her friends are so fucking stupid, lmao.

I hope he moves on from that girl and continues with his life again.
Also, from reading what everyone is saying. She is wrong. That he pushed her away. Like WTF?? You basically told him that maybe you enjoyed it, lmao. What did you want him to do? Say, okay, you're right I am not a victim. Fucking bitch. I'm calm. But I have a feeling later on they're going to get back together again.

Kaede’s got so much support and it makes me so happy to see his friends caring about him. BUT DAMN THIS CHAPTER WAS ANNOYING, Tsubasa’s friend is just saying shit without even knowing the gist of the situation and as much as I understand that Tsubasa’s mindset is most likely the product of sheltered parenting and upbringing, omg she is so insufferable it’s absurd. I hope if she ever makes a comeback she grows into a better person all around after learning from her mistakes.

Thats not the same as saying he liked it, even more when she clearly didnt mean it like that
She is assuming he had options or that it was within his power to stop it at any moment. That is equally or even more bad to assume about a rape victim... and something very hypocritical to assume about a male victim....

The fact that so many of you are calling a girl who is many chapters already who regret and dont even like to feel that way as a bitch as if she has done anything like this on purpose is bizarre. Maybe it would have been the best if the mangaka didn't give anything to her and just made her evil with no nuance whatsoever and hurting him on purpose when you guys cant even see this basic thing in front of you..

The new blonde lady is revealed in ch 29 to like to sleep around with guys as friends with benefits, and Tsubasa is grilled to Hell by her friends when they find out what she REALLY said to Kaede
No such thing happens. Only the blonde says anything

Bizarre is that she thinks she is the victim here....

You know, youth, immaturity and emotional turbulence are not a defense. Objectively, they both made poor choices. Before I'm collectively burned at the stake I'll qualify that.

Kaede got swept up in his happiness, trust and fear and shared something an adult would have known not to share with a child.
Tsubasa... Where to start... Have a little more self-awareness before PUSHING for details of a trauma, and way to get overwhelmed by your own, frankly, f#cked up worldview and uncertainty and attack the victim compounding the trauma...

That being said, for me it really demonstrates more than the mere setting the immaturity and emotional struggles inherent in the characters. I don't find her particularly evil, if solely because she isn't an adult, that doesn't mean I'd be heartbroken if (as someone suggested) she had a Zombieland Saga level encounter with truck-kun.

I think the recovery from this, IF there is to be one and if its to be done well, has the potential to be some of the better writing I've seen in manga.

I hope it's done well, without shortcuts.

She literally says shes not the victim when she says shes at fault and that she cant never erase that. Her correcting the guy because he was saying she broke up with him when it wasnt the case isnt related.
