To be fair... The vast majority of the students would have loved to have been his position... The main reason for the trauma was because he wasn't mentally ready for sex.... But if that teacher or most of the other students were in that position they would have viewed themselves as lucky...

Can you blame the guy for saying that he was jealous when the boy was in a position most men would gladly be in???

It's also why men are often less sympathetic towards men raped by attractive woman... Cuz most of us would go for it...

So the ones that are traumatized get very little sympathy....

It's also why this kind of manga is so important... Because it could help some men realize that there are people that can be traumatized in the same situation that they would gladly be in....

But here is also the thing... If we want people to understand we also have to be understanding....

I see everyone praising her demonstration, but there is a tiny problem: a normal person wouldn't kiss someone who is as clearly not in the mood as she was when she asked. Especially if said person is actually in love with her.
This is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" kind of test

You also need to remember that manga often simplifies things... It makes the story go more straight and just be easier...

I don't know if manga/anime that depict romance show the japanese culture or if it is a fiction of romance, wherever the case, it's pretty interesting seeing the difference of how a relatioship, or romantic feeling works.

Only issue is, it won't help at all. Any male that understands it don't need stuff like this manga. The other ones simply will view the "traumatized" ones as lamers/weaklings, like "how the fuck you are scared by a sexy milf fucking you?" type of deal. No manga, nothing you will say to those guys will "put them on right track".

The pragmatic perspective is appreciated but it's not at all a stretch to say that the text is purposefully pointing how toxic that kind of response is and how harm it causes to individuals inherently cannot be justified by a greater consensus.

She did it to see if frustration , hesitation or dispair will manifest.

It was despair. Which immidiately confirmed her suspicion. He wasn't showing a face of consideration or thinking about the "mood".

Not necessarily. Yeah she seems to sleep around or has purely physical relationships, but from what I can tell that stems from her only being with shithead guys that were only after her looks/body. It goes without saying that that would put a very bad taste in her mouth where dating men is concerned.

Meanwhile there's Kaede's own trauma with adult women, but he himself is a very good guy. If you ask me, their previous bad experiences with the opposite gender fit together like puzzle pieces- they could heal each other. Or they could exacerbate each other. We'll see.

She had three goals:

1. See if he is as serious about his feelings as his thinks he is
2. Figure out what happened to him
3. Try to bring their relationship back onto "employee - employer" track

It is extremely unlikely that he would've kissed her even if he had a strong romantic desire, so figuring outhis true feelings with this test would've been inconclusive if not for the expression he had when she asked him to kiss her. But whatever the outcome was, it would've had him confused and on the back foot so it would've been much easier to pry into his past as a follow-up question. And, as manipulative as it is, explaining his refusal to kiss her as him not actually liking her romantically would've at least made him scrutinize his feelings more and back down for the time being, and at best realize that he is not in love with her, thus bringing their relationship back on the right track.
So yeah, "damned if you do, damned if you don't", but she has achieved at least two of her three goals
