I think she still alive, Hibiki did block most of the attack after all. Hence why he got cut to piece while his sister body still intact. She probably just won't be able to heal using DT end went to coma or something.

Sound reasonable, actually. Sesera could have healed Hibiki so fast that Hwalipon didn't even realize Hibiki died, which means Sesera collapsed from the injuries that killed Hibiki instead of a second killing blow.

This whole arc kind of feels like its main role is to briefly resolve a bunch of character arcs so that the story can move on to properly resolving the arcs for its essential characters...

Part of me theorizes that's the reason that Sesera died before there was any real meaning to her yandere feelings for her Hibiki that we saw before. That is, the author just decided it didn't make sense to budget chapters to resolve for character arc properly.

But I really don't know. I guess what I hope most is that she is not actually dead...

if he just let his sister took Hwalipon's attack she could just heal herself right after
but because he took the attack the pink had to choose to heal Hibiki or herself which he choose Hibiki

TBH I don't really like Hibiki's character. he just feel like Naruto with his stupid ideal that two opposite sides should get along etc but without power to back up his ideal

I mean, with the goal of killing all the dragon keepers, this is a pretty good opportunity for Sesera to die without having to contrive a conflict between her and D. Gets her out of the way, does massive damage to Hibiki. Hurts like hell, though. What a way to go.

I like how the way Meijin phrased his response makes it sound like Lustrist is known to be an immortal manga reader who has the magical power to travel into any manga of his choice, but he has to abide by the lore that guides each manga.


I.e. the only thing that's preventing Lustrist from hugging Hibiki is the "everyone Hibiki loves dies" rule, not the impossibility of hugging a manga character or, were that not an issue, of Lustrist's assumed inability to die.
