It is likely they ended the adaption where they did because it worked as an ending point; the light novel has been stalled with only one volume being released after 2020.

It sucks but we are at the mercy of Akatsuki. At least Kiasa will probably find something else to do.

Time to hunt down the light novel. Loved his konosuba novel so this will be a good read too. Adaptations are gonna be like this, especially when theres not enough source material to continue a manga with.

This was a great series and I'm glad to see that, for the most part, the manga had a solid ending. Thankfully the full light novel has been released in English already through official means so it's possible to continue there.
