They are between 15-16 (since they are now in highschool) she has judging from the previous part of the chapter spent either the entire middle school and maybe even the Primary school years teasing him and not allowing him to have friends. If you as a person by 16 can't tell that what your doing is insanely wrong then I dunno what to tell you.

Where I live, you can still be in middle school when you're 15 (as you turn 15 before middle school actually ends). And this brings me to this:

Its pretty much a repressed memory for me at this point (so all I remember is that it happened) but towards the end of middle school there were these 2 girls that fucked with me in pretty pyschotic ways and never when there were other classmates around so it was always hard to prove to the teachers that they were fucking with me.

Nothing ever physical but mentally they managed to drag me down enough that I could barely speak up without acting out in some strange way and they loved to use that against me as a threat to be expelled from school if I don't keep quiet. At the end of middle school I burned so many bridges with people that were friends of mine because I could no longer communicate normally, the only thing that kept me going without thoughts of suicide were family and friends that did not attend the same school.

Boy was I happy when I finally entered high school in another part of the city and those two were nowhere near. I could finally revert back to normal. The only time I ever met them again I just walked passed as they tried to call me out, wether they wanted to apologize or not I did not care anymore at that point.

So yea, while not 16 (but close enough) they seemed unable to tell they were insane.

As a fellow bullied (for lack of better word) I feel ya, most childhood bullies I knew later tried to apologise or ignore my existence with a fervor that showed embarressment at reunions. I dont go to them anymore lol

"Who here never make a wrong thing at the childhood" I've made mistakes as a child, I've never tormented someone everyday for at a minimum 3 years and then teased them about beign alone.......


While true the issue is when people get depressed so to go that ability. We have a bridge in my city that many have jumped from, the several survivors have all said the same thing. "About halfway down I suddenly why I jumped" or similar.

That why I said the girl way is extremely bad. Unfortunately, the at the age 12~ 20 is the time adolescence happen and make us rebellion.

I personally don't like Mesugaki stories like Nagatoro or Uzaki-Chan (didn't know the sub-genre had a name till seeing it in the comments today). I don't find rude and insulting people worth socialising with, nor do I wish to read about them.
What I do like, is rude, obnoxious bullies getting their comeuppance. This manga is so up my alley. Hopefully this trends well enough to have an Anti-Mesugaki sub-genre build out of it.

Yeah I can see this as a reaction to that trend, as much as I like some of them... and there's a LOT of them by now. Uzaki, Nagatoro, Teasing Master Takagi, Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible. Tsunderes also count IMO, they'd be annoying to deal with in real life.

Funny thing about Nagatoro, she's pretty horrible in her original/pre-serialization version (but still obvious that she likes the MC) that she'd actually fit in THIS series.
