I agree wholeheartedly, it's been a bit of a mire emotionally and pace wise since he was cast out. It honestly probably wouldn't be anywhere near as bad without the wait, it's literally chapter 9 lol. We are here though, I think him being completely wiped out when he wasn't expecting it will also clarify just how much of an impact the ancestors are having as well.Overall, I really loved this chapter finally showing us that Lyle isn't just someone who needs to rely on other people for everything. It puts his stupor into perspective as the culmination and subsequent snapping of a desperate genius who lost everything to an unstoppable force that no amount of effort could overcome. From a story standpoint, especially as someone who has read actively from the first chapter's release, it has taken a while, a bit longer than I would have hoped for, but in a way, that has made it all the more satisfying to see Lyle soaring again after watching him stumbling around with his wings clipped up until this point. I hope things can finally pick up now that this extended intro of sorts has finally reached its climax.
still a bit peeved that he somehow got nerfed still, even after showing he has the skills of someone endlessly playing catch up to someone unnaturally blessed by evil gods, but at least he showed enough to change the instructor's opinion of him. What happened with his mana tho, is it something like his sister's Evil God existence sapping his abilities to further her own and that's why he never reached her? Or was it just bc of his ancestors and the gem they're in?
It wouldn’t be that much of a burden if The First Head just gave him the skill."wait what?? i'm already out of juice???" pfff. that necklace is really a curse draining him to the bone
The first's skills are needed to offset the mana problem. And even that is not enough for some of their skills.@Egakor their skills aren't built off of the First's, they need his to build Lyle up from the ground up. Each generation had their own set of skills, and they can't start teaching them to Lyle until he gets stronger.
Yeah, the way your other comment is worded, it sounds like you mean that all the other Walts built their skills on his.The first's skills are needed to offset the mana problem.
