I don't like the scene where he's exhausted though. In the LN, he was only like that because his ancestors talked again after he was done killing the goblins. But they completely cut the ancestor talk in the manga.

Why is Lyle deciding to make a stand here? Either A. He has some special ability that he developed that we've never seen despite him explicitly stating he didn't know he had an Art already, or B. He forgot he got his ass handed to him by a little girl and he's about to get folded a second time.
