Also his arts were obviously combat/brute force oriented, I wonder what kind of art the rest have especially those who don't look the warrior part.

I'm confused on how it works because the first made it sound like he died and the next thing he knew he woke up in the chamber with Lyle? Is it only Lyle that is going through being trained by his ancestors and can talk to them? It's called Seventh, is it that this only happens once every seven generations?

The Jewel containing his ancestors held the said accessory as a Gem in their lifetimes which only contained and passed on their arts to the next head. However when the Gem evolved into the Jewel, it caused them to manifest inside the Jewel. They only have memories up until their death in their original lives. The evolution was just a coincidence since it contained enough energy to evolve. At the end, the Jewel exhausted all its energy and reverted back to a Gem.

Baller ass departure. First was a cool ass dude and seeing them be able to rectify some of their relationships with their ancestors because of the jewel was really quite nice. We gonna need Lyle to be less wishy-washy soon from these meetings and departures.

This chapter was made even more sad with Lyle realizing that he'll have to go through this experience six more times, and it's necessary in order for him to get strong enough.
The greatsword was col, I wonder if Kyle will get something from each ancestor.

Doesn't that contradict what was said in the previous chapter? It sounded like The First only had memories up until he handed the Gem to The Second. The First didn't have any memories of his last conversation he had with The Second, saying he never spoke to his son again.
