Literally half the comments acting like it's possible for a free webcomic to get axed.
Like whether or not the published book continues it or is just the same chapters with some more stuff added, there's nobody the mangaka is working for that even has the authority to axe this?
@natchu96 Yea but the author didn’t write this ending in the specific way I wanted it to happen so OBVIOUSLY there’s a big conspiracy act that happened in the background, and not just the author themselves - who did all this as a free webcomic - something they wrote and planned out /s
I kinda am disappointed they didn’t at least do something with the hints of romance that’s been present in the last few chapters, but overall I liked the ending. Small and comfy, just like how the rest of the series was.
@ZeonII
Except it's the exact opposite of the "axe". Rather than stopping serialisation due to not being popular enough, the webcomic was so popular that it got a regular serialisation.
Thank god happy ending felt anxious reading this all the way to the end always felt it was gonna end like his father dying from being overworked was a great series thanks for the translations now hoping for a doujin ending now where they end up married.
Good ending.
He starts to overcome the meaningless overworking, and starts to have a goal to chase; it creates meaning for his life.
So yeah, it is a good time to end.
