This chapter marks the start of vol 9, but it hasn't been released in English officially (yet).
Also, the series has gone weekly again, I think just until the end of the current arc.

It's pretty cool that the next step after oversoul is union with the spirits and thus the great spirit itself. Nothing was ever separate but through the eyes of men. Will be cool to see Hana's New Trance form.

Since you're the one who posted these two chapters on the site, can I ask which group translated these scans? Or did you translate them by yourself? I’m asking because it feels surreal that after years of no fansubs for Shaman King, there's finally someone who is translating them again! Haha.

Someone has been translating them. Officially. These ones feel MLT'd, honestly. Or just not done by someone familiar with the series.

It's true, I'm not too familiar with the series. Sorry if there's anything I didn't pick up on because of that.
I'm really only translating this as a favor for a friend.
I've been consulting the wiki to try and get some context for certain lines and to get proper spelling for names and other terminology, etc.
People should absolutely support the official release when it comes out, this is mostly just being done for the people who can't wait that long.

Yeah I figured it out, if you want any advice you can count on me. There are some small mistakes in the first 2 chapters that you translated (such as Black Maiden that refers to Hana as she, or Marco that thanks the Dong Family from what they done to Luchist, when they... well, they actually killed him).
But as I said earlier, If you want to know anything about Shaman King, you can count on me.
