Why can't that chic just get into a physical platonic relationship with a male? Instead of wasting money at a hostess bar run by uggos males?

Makes no sense? Too rich to care about intimacy? Wants to now trick her mind with feeling like she's loved, while in actuality, is being milked (literally) from her wallet?

Because host/hostess bars are quick and easy gratification for people who lack self confidence.

Her childhood friend obviously has built up a complex of not being "pretty" all her life since women always fawned over her so its come up as being unable to normally talk to males outside of the manufactured stuff at a host bar.

Also its a comedy yuri manga no need to think just let author cook and enjoy the ride =P

Hoo, yet another reminder that the protagonist is not a good person... and has also developed a really weird relationship to... well, relationships, due to the survival-oriented methods she has developed under the groundhog year parameters. The fact that she herself doesn't know why she's taking certain courses of action, (like the drugging of her friend for example) sits in pretty well with that. Guess we'll have to see whether this all fits together into a coherent thesis statement by the end, or if it remains trashy comedic fun.

I feel for Yuuki. She just wanted to be treated like a woman instead of like a man. Also, I kinda feel like Marie was always into women. Her whole deal was enjoying debauched parties where men were degraded, using her wealth and power to be above people. She's a dom who never, for whatever reason, explored or questioned her sexuality. The fact she has such a visceral response to men after pushing herself into sleeping with women says a lot.
