Honestly I think he's going to develop full dependantcy of her but not the other way around, kind of like how a dog needs an owner but does the owner need the dog? He's just a toy for her and the author is either going to have her break him and throw him away or she's legitimately going to fall in love (in that case it will probably be to late) there is a third option but I can't see it but I know it's there

3rd option: he become dependent and she dies. Maybe because she has been dying of a disease from the start, making it possible for her to have no care for her own live, thus being able to jump with him simply to make a point.
(Yes, I mentioned something like that like 10 minutes ago in the previous chapter, but this one she have green raising even more death flag on her side. XD )
