It’s the author’s choice. We’ve already had 80+ chapters of the main couple, why not give the minor characters time to shine?

Just because the author makes terrible choices doesn't mean the audience is compelled to praise said stupid choices. Considering how long the last "minor character" arc took and how fucking boring it was is an indication of how long and boring this one will be, as well. Besides the fact that it'll take one hell of a lot more than spit and polish to make this useless fucking character "shine." And who really gives two shits about this character, anyway? It's just a sad excuse to extend the franchise and keep the author's money rolling in.

I'm not a fan of the new character, he kinda feels forced in.
But hey, at least Hachimitsu has someone to "bully" now and I'm all in for that.
