This arc plainly just sucked. Even the ending turned into a joke. At this point just go back to mindless fan service....
The recipes do sound interesting though, might be worth giving them a shot.

Fries as usual at the end. That said, good fries are hard to make, great fries are harder. I guess it's easier if you do it yourself, but if you leave it to a restaurant... even if it's a good one, it's shocking how many times they fail.

Undercooked, overcooked, too old, not enough salt or seasonings, too much... I don't know if it's just where I live, but so many shops with supposedly good fries keep failing almost every time.

fries done well are absolutely delicious though - i ate at a steakhouse once and the fries were genuinely so good that i still remember the taste and crave them every now and then, i don't even remember what main dish i ate since the fries were just that good. I'd have gone back already if it weren't a bit far.
