Yes, it seems to be a bit garbagy as it strongly goes into harem direction and fuels itself by introducing a girl (or trap) of the chapter or tries to create intimacy between MC and one of the girls. But at least the author dropped the "we'll kill the MC in the most unfair ways"-outline of the manga, which I somehow really loathed in this case. We're now at the point at which he isn't the fool of the party and also isn't Justice McCool, who every girl is in love with, which makes him rather likeable at the moment, and I kinda wanna see him digging his way out of the hole he is right now.

...Though the author is burning through intercharater-development faster than a plasma torch drill through ice. If this carry on, I fear it'll reach harem-mess levels soon. Let's hope for the best.
