Really odd. It lives in a microcosm sort of. The story moves forward with minimal time spent on each beat. Yet it is somehow still interesting. Imagine a story with no padding or major world building. Just the main characters and very little time spent developing things. You only get the info you need to understand things, nothing more. I kind of like it for it that.
