I like this series but there's one thing I don't like from further in the LN that I think is out of the blue and doesn't serve anything.

Claudia falling in love with Ashton was out of character when you see how she always reprimand him for how he acts with Olivia and considering how the relationship between Ashton, Claudia and Olivia is often portrayed like siblings.

Whelp what little respect I had for Rosenmarie vanished. Olivia litterally marched with Osvanne's head on a pike, hell the whole reason she was after Olivia was because she killed him. And in this chapter shes only just realised Olivia killed him? This is just bad writing at this point.

After having reread the current chapters I can confirm at no point did she think Olivia killed the General her hate boner was for the 7th as a whole.

Agreed. She dismissed the rumors of Olivia's super power as propaganda and felt it was the whole unit who caused her beloved general's death. Olivia might have been a skilled fighter and leader but would have used that and her men to overcome a great man like Oswand. There is no logical way, in Rosenmarie's head, a girl her age could beat a swordmaster 1v1.

She was descendents of the Abyss Clan (which should be extinct), a minority race that had amazing powers from ancient times, powerful enough to overthrow a nation. Their eternal enemy was the Asura Clan. General Felix (see chapter 16) of the empire is one of the descendants of the Asura Clan. Felix will probably be the most difficult human opponent for Olivia, if that fight happened.

As a side note, Valedstorm House (which Olivia uses as her family name) turns out to be descendents of the Abyss Clan as well. 150 years ago, Valedstorm House was slandered by Asura Clan for treason. Asura clan instigated Farness kingdom to destroy Valedstrorm House.
