Dherme's trying to unify the continent and reign supreme forever, and Xenia (a God of Death) seemingly having her own plans. Now, might not seem like much, but then you remember God's of Death at a lowball can literally snap away entire mountains with their power.

I generally think this series is very good at slowly building up things in the background if you are willing to pay attention.

Well I’m flippin loving this one. Its got that steady buildup that happens when you just KNOW something bad is coming for the fmc but ya have no clue when. This is also one of the few I’ve read in a while that I really feel is well balanced. I just hate it hasn’t been updated in 7 months

I think it's less me burning out that'll be the bottleneck and more so the official release. During the 1 year this was dropped, they released 9 chapters. So, yeah, we'll catch up VERY quickly sadly, and after that it'll probably be around 1 chapter per month, like so many other manga...
