@thock3d Honestly, part of it is probably similar to why Japan is slow to legalize gay marriages. Paperwork. No, seriously. One of the things about gay marriage legalization is the necessity to basically redo the entire family registry system they currently have in place over there. In the U.S. it'd arguably muddy the waters on various things that are currently in place, so the systems affected would need a once over to update them for everything but it's government shit. People have to propose the changes, vote on it, probably rework the details and vote on it again, etc. It's a lot of paperwork and such nobody wants to deal with just so people can do something that is arguably unnecessary. Also, half the people involved in all that are religious and the separation of church and state is less than functional.

I only just realised something.

Remember that necklace that he got a while back? The one he split in two and gave one of them to Salia / Saria?
If I remember the awkwardly worded description of that necklace correctly... it multiplies all attributes by the number of mutual lovers wearing copies of it. I thought it seemed a bit odd at the time, but now I think about it, that was basically 100% guaranteed foreshadowing of gradual harem development.

i.e. The bigger the harem, the higher everyone's stats... assuming they all get a split copy of the necklace.

I'm glad that even though both members of his harem and his senpai have big breasts he doesn't bring it up he seems to actually like them for their personalities rather than it being them falling in love with him and he's like my harem is forever increasing.
Also screw the kingdom and I bet that king's attendant is either a demon that hates his own people or just some evil human who plans to kill the king and take over the kingdom.
