I think it's really interesting to have a manga that shows this sort of blended family situation without resorting to the trope of "the prior partners are dead so it's not complicated". I think it's natural that we as readers have mixed or complicated feelings about their situation because clearly all the characters involved feel that way too. Real life relationships rarely end cleanly with clear good and bad actors, and it's refreshing to see a manga where people have to navigate a situation where it's clear that people still love and care for each other but also aren't completely compatible as family.

You know none of those questions will be answered or at least answered in really wishy-washy way where somehow everything okay and everyone happy. Author has no interested to handle that topic with depth or care or go beyond surface level writing.

I kinda see it. It writrs a tragic ending for those two, i really hated that series, but the ending really softened me up for it. But its really a recipe for failure too.

Kanon is just too plain as a heroine, and Author tried to pull that she is super horny but its super pure and its kinda her only character trait.

I get it, they met at the work place and mom was overworking so they separated to give her less responsabilities, and then they divorced cause of that, and dad married again in the same workplace, but somehow MC is ok with his mom despite not even really see her that often since he was 7?!

At least dad took 10 years to remary...
