Leaving aside the whole absurdity and meaninglessness of the reasons for this drama, which were the adoption and the identity of the biological mother (I don’t know if this is some kind of joke on Reiji’s part), the ending of this plotline was awful. The guy who harassed Kaname’s children and his employees walked away free, Yamaguchi deceived 70% of the family and left, leaving Minami and Shion in the dark (I don’t blame Arata here for not telling them because the guy simply respects Yamaguchi’s opinion and decision), and Kaname, almost at the end of the series, threatened someone for the first time. Reiji apparently remembered after 76 chapters that this family is disgustingly rich and can “do” a lot.
