thats only a applicable tactic if a single average combatant can be compared to at least 50% of the opponent that you want to ambush or you have ways of countering them
else its like a bunch of toddlers bringing down an adult....
also thats a tactic from our world where human strength doesnt wildly fluctuate as in a fantasy world
it still stands the bandits/thugs and the traitor committed senseless suicide
when they should have tried to use their brains

@joel7686, if I recall, it said somewhere or MC mentioned it while trying to level up the Princess and Ar that it was difficult for him to gain exp now after leveling up so high. I think according to that, it's still not feasible for him to carry out your plan. I think MC mentioned he'd have to find some higher level monsters to fight to level up and get stronger. Again, if I recall correctly.
Also, keep in mind, Princess and Ar weren't aware they could level up just like MC meaning everyone in this world could do that, they just lacked the knowledge that they could. The book Nathalia gave the MC had game-like magic in it that MC was familiar with and unfamiliar with. We see that when he utilized some of the magic in the book, the Emperor, Alice, etc. were unfamiliar with it. Also, the path to Sage that Nathalia was after was taken by the MC, she knew about the path, but not how to get there. Meaning, at some point and time in this world, leveling up and changing jobs were part of one's well-known path to gain strength and grow. So there's a possibility there's someone out there that's already doing, or have done that just like the hero.
As to whether the MC and Hero fights, I'm reluctant to call that a definitive thing that will happen based on the Hero's POV. Yeah, he falls back on believing the Princess despite what his eyes tell him, but it's a possibility once he finds out the MC is also not from this world that he might start to question things a little more. He never really interacted with MC when they summoned the Hero, the princess quickly carted him off to meet the king, if I recall, and then the Priest sent the MC to his room and had the door locked and then the next day sent him to the wilderness.

MC said that it will not be as easy as it was before, because he had the cheat lv 100 base class rings, the leveling will be normal from that point forward, dude had a lv 999 berserker, grinding is never hard for him.
MC was sent to a cell, eating shitty food, them he was disposed off the middle of nowhere, just to die, you forgot some important "details"
There was a POV of the hero before the one from the battle, he was not from the same world as the protagonist, he was from a fantasy world, and based on his thoughts, it will not be hard for him to adapt on this new world, also, he says that there was no beast people or other intelligent races besides humans from his fantasy world, he is reluctant to kill them, but he have nothing against it either, he is more on the 'lawful neutral' side of things.
Its possible that the knowledge you are talking about came from people summoned or reincarnated on the past, the info about game like spells, leveling and changing jobs is too important to be forgotten, if that's the excuse for it, that it was 'forgotten' i will probably drop the manga.
I am desperate to see the fight, mc will become invincible if he have time to level, that's very well established, i really dont want him to become a 'saitama' character
