Yep BUT he is a normal person for now and as we know only those that are not right on the mind will think of killing a living person, being corrupt means jail, not death.

Like Doomer said last chapter, though, instead of saving him he could've just pretended he had nothing that could help

Sure, it'd probably weigh on his conscience, and that's why he didn't, but it would sure save him from a lot of future headaches

Although... would he be accused of being an accessory to manslaughter if whatever-the-noble's-warriors learn that he has Petrify-curing potions? That remains up in the air I suppose

But if he didn't heal the noble, he'd have to leave the others to die too.
Doubt he'd be able to sneak the cure to them without the lead guard noticing, either him healing them or the others not dying.

As much as he might hate the noble, I'm sure leaving the others die would certainly weigh on him.

That likely won't work, the guy carrying him likely his own family's guard, if MC didn't save him, he would took it by force anyway.

While that noble is a huge jerk, it's really sad to see his horse die. He clearly cared for Melty enough to recover the statue and morn for them. Still don't like him tho
