As a (probably. Indonesians don’t generally believe in mental illnesses unless it’s visibly severe) mildly depressed person, i…really relate to that level of depression-inducing solitude (have been there). If not for the internet, mangas, and games, i might’ve actually just take the jump and experience newton’s laws personally…especially that bit where you start thinking “i’m so hopeless, wouldn’t it be much better for everyone if i just bit the dust?”
The mental health awareness in our country is terrible. I know this firsthand when we tried to get a family member to a treatment resort...but all they had was imams and no psychologist or any medical professionals. Thankfully my family does have good sense and immediately pulled out of that one. I hope things will change.

Came for haha survival antics, got some real life depression shit this chapter. Thank you for the TL! Keigo's situation, feelings and internal thoughts all hit home. Even now, I have severe troubles establishing and maintaining relationships with people because of it. It's so easy to crawl into bed and be miserable instead of taking those first steps. I hope you feel better and overcome this, Keigo.

But hey, think about all the poor jobless imams wkwk

Yeah that’s dumb and thank goodness your fam has some sense to go a better direction. our mental healthcare is stuck on the colonial era…i bet those imams are there to “exorcise the demon” and try to save the people with thoughts and prayers because pretty damn sure that’s what an evangelist church would do, and I don’t see a reason why a muslim equivalent in zealousness wouldn’t do that.

Honestly, I hate the language gimmick now. It's interesting occasionally, but it has barely improved since he started learning it, even though it is implied that he has gotten much better. I wish the author would only 'censor' certain words or phrasings. I'm sure the MC can consistently pick out the equivalent of like "the" or "a" or basic shit by now.

It's just annoying.

I like this story, it feels like a nice breath from a lot of isekai manga. No harem, no automatic language skill, no amazing skill, he even need another adventurer to help kill a monster and his position is just a supporter, a super normal guy building his life in a new world from zero bit by bit. Why the score is so low.

I feel like he can be a good friend with Mukoda from another manga. They feel similar.

Real. But once again, I just wish he'd find a good woman in that town instead of choosing a hooker.

Booo me all you want, I'm still right.
Right, because her choice in career completely precludes her from being a good, kind person. Because people in her line of work obviously don't deserve to have a romantic partner or any sort of happy relationship.

Setting aside the fact that, as others have pointed out, she seems to be more of a hostess than a full-on prostitute, I find myself getting more and more pissed off at the attitude people so often have in these comment sections that women with any kind of prior sexual experience, or that have any sort of "red light" job, are somehow undeserving of romance or are a poor fit for a given MC. People think that, somehow, their sexual experience and/or choice of career completely supersede things like their personality, feelings, and other contributing factors when it comes to their compatibility as a romantic partner.

MFs will really look at the kindest, sweetest, most reasonable women and go "she's had sex before/she works as an escort, so clearly she's a bad fit for the MC".

I'm getting tired of it.

THANK YOU FOR SAYING IT SO PERFECTLY.

May I add, you are 100% correct because Yurina is sincerely the kindest, sweetest, and most reasonable woman in this series so far!

In the WN, Yurina grew up being abused horribly by her father. So bad that she had scars everywhere on her body. When both parents died, it was just her and her older brother, but they were still kids. Her brother did everything he could to take care of Yurina, but he eventually fell ill, and with no money to pay the doctor, he also died. Little Yurina had no place to live and no way to get food, so she resigned herself to dying on the streets. "Mama" (the owner of the hostess bar) came across her, brought her to her place, then fed, bathed, and gave Yurina a bed. Mama and the women at the bar saved her life. Yurina worked as a dishwasher while she was a child and when she got older, she became a hostess herself. So her customers wouldn't get grossed out, she got tattoos to cover up the scars her father gave her. She then met Keigo and after spending so much time together, she found herself falling in love with him. She felt bad for loving him because she believed she wasn't good enough, because she worked as a hostess and was covered in scars. Keigo, being the mega-chad that he is, truly did not care about her background or her scars. He asks her if she wants to rid herself of the scars and gives her a potion to heal them (along with the tattoos). They get married and she begins to live with him. It's really sweet how they rescued each other from such dark places.

Lol it's bad in the modern world to. You fall break your hip and lie collapsed on the floor for a week before police do a wellness check on you and if you're still alive you're covered in your own piss and shit.

Yeah but usually in these kinds of times the kids stay with the parents either by adding to the house or whateves. Although yeah modern world is very unpersonalised these days so noone would know sadly.

That was awesome thing to do for Baierun, although what he did in the past should earn him a life in the dungeon, he had a good progress in redeeming himself step by step.

Problem is he is flashing all sorts of top-tier items all around, bringing unwanted attention.

Juno and Elsa, even Marugo is rooting for him and Yurina is very heartwarming.

Keigo is clearly very much depressed, getting it is a good thing, since you can overcome it as you notice it, being always depressed as long memory can reach is more difficult.

Whatever Yurina was concerned, looks serious...

Thanks for scanlation!
