Felt the same... but hasn't it only been days since they shacked up?
It's been a few weeks, actually, near as I can tell. Even when traveling by horse-drawn wagon, you typically don't go much faster than a walking pace because the kind of fast traveling we see with stage coaches on the American Frontier is actually very hard on wagons. Stage coaches get away with it because they're over-engineered and carry loads that are relatively light weight - just a few people and their bags. Keigo and Yurina, on the other hand, have packed pretty heavily. But with good reason: this journey is a long haul, so they need to be prepared for all kinds of contingencies.

Getting back to the biology...

It is very much possible that she could be pregnant. HOWEVER. It's very rare for a woman to be able to tell this early on. The first week or two of pregnancy is usually referred to as "chemical pregnancy". This is because the fertilization occurs in the fallopian tubes, and from there it will take about a week or two until implantation in the uterine lining occurs. And until then, her body is in a sort of ready-standby state, because there's no knowing at all whether the developing embryo is viable or not until it arrives at the uterus. (More often than not, a late period for a woman who is sexually active is actually a very early miscarriage.)

And just like what Salfaro here said...
Yeah, but this gesture isn't always used for "I can feel the baby bump", it's also used for chars basically indicating they "feel" (even if metaphorically) what the guy left in there the night before, though I wouldn't be able to name the other manga(s?) I've seen it shown up in. So it's not implying that time passed + she's confirmed pregnant now, it's just implying that they did the deed the night before and there probably wasn't a pull out.

Yeah, this.

And believe it or not, for most women it really does make a difference whether or not their partner "left something behind". This is because semen is absolutely loaded with all kinds of hormones - many of which enhances a woman's fertility. It's sort of like insurance - if she doesn't become pregnant the first try or two, then it's no real loss as it's just further stacking the deck by improving her fertility.

And most women who've been sexually active will tell you that they can feel the difference. When their partner uses a condom or pulls out, they're left with a vaguely empty feeling down there. I'm no woman, but if I had to describe it? I'd say it's like that feeling you get when you're eating something you really like, and then something happens that makes the food fall out of your mouth for whatever reason, and then you somehow feel cheated.

Otherwise? You get the "Afterglow" - that feeling of blissful and dream-like satisfaction the morning after a really good night. It's really a sort of high, only from hormones. And the best kind at that, because unlike with narcotics and other drugs, the comedown is gentle and easy, and even leaves a woman feeling energized and invigorated. (That thing about hormones improving her fertility? It has the side effect of giving a woman more pep in her step because energy that would have gone into making a baby gets repurposed.)

So while she may not be pregnant, she very likely has a sense and sensation of being fulfilled, both literally and metaphorically.

why? I never mentioned biology, only alluded to days being way too short of a timespan to feel a baby bump or kicking.

Who knows how “potent” certain seeds are in another world….

We've all read, I think certain manga where growth is shorter depending on the story need…. I forget if we’ve had that here yet or not…

Oh they definitely boinked off screen, Keigo is too of a gentleman to make us look at it with jealousy ;)

Did mangaka forgot to draw Yurina tattoos?

Even the horsie has a new mate, things will go smoothly now... right?!? :aquadrink:

Thanks for scanlation!
