he's not really clueless and actually he is a decent person
he is just someone who has placed unto pedestal (without him wanted to) and he is trying too fill it, but now he is tired of that (of fulfilling everyone expectation and maintaining the balance between his harem)
he also already has feeling that not every girl love him but actually love mc, but somehow he got the girl/harem

thats why he can truly open up with mc because he is the only one act real on him
