Well it's not like Sa'ida brought any meaningful new information to the captain. He still doesn't believe her from the first time. I guess the author included this scene of him doubling down as a beat for some payoff later. Or even just to remind us of the captain's position as the arc kicks into motion.

Oh but with Darnalos it's just blatant lol.

I could honestly go panel by panel analyzing this manga. The artstyle is incredible.

On page 10... God I wish that were me.

Honestly wonder what Ginbei sees. All I really noticed is the only three with enough coins to fill the entire panel showing the amount were the merchant, the coin exchanger, and Jens (who holds money for the priest). But the priest makes money the same way as the shrine maiden, who had barely anything, so the amount feels a little suspicious…

But that’s assuming the countries themselves are red herrings due to Hyoudou saying they match up, but Jai’s comment about Brom losing the war feels too random to ignore…
