"I am confident in my speed and in detecting the presence of monsters."
It's over, Jelly... Or maybe not. Apparently he can't detect skinwalking slimes, unless perhaps she starts bleeding slime fluid or carelessly order her splits around which are the two things she should be most careful about.

That gadget bug explains how quickly the villains learned she survived.

It’s possible slimes don’t have “killing intent”
Since I imagine most don’t make a first move and the summary does say “weakest demon” versus Slime Chan assimilating so much with Jelly’s body by now plus the Butterfly-goddess blessing or so lol

Somany questions that having the hero be introduced open.

Does he only detect evil? Evil mosters specifically? Does the slime taking over a corpse turn her into a hybrid monster-human and is therefore not detected? Does the slime inherit the saint attribute and that overrides the monster attribute?

What about the couple dozen splits she had made to keep watch around her room/the mansion? Hero can clearly sense monsters that tiny so why hasn't he found the aplits she left? Are the splits also tiny little saints? Did the goddess intervene and made jelly something special? No way she can hide her slime nature from the goddess she is a saint of!
I do suspect that "hostile intent" is part of what the hero can detect, and Jelly does not have any. (A common slime probably strays into hostile intent merely by being hungry but Jelly is well-fed and can thus slide in as having merely "human" levels of hostility.)

If its hostility that the hero detects then that makes some sense. Jelly still fears and wants to get rid of him, you could argue there's hostile intent there.

Then again Jelly has always been painfully naive and innocent. She's never shown hostility to a human that wasnt already trying to kill her

Yea, she's extremely non-violent about how she wants to get rid of him (and she definitely doesn't want to eat him), so it probably is vague enough that he can't tell it apart from what any normal human might feel around him (knowing that he can kill pretty much anyone with a strike and probably get away with it).
