I think at best Lumir's giving bad advice here (understandably, but still bad) - showing monsters can integrate is probably a better solution to the problem everyone's skipping atm.

What is see everyone here miss so far is that lumir's face is also shown in shadow multiple times, especially after something of note is said. This is why she is giving red flags.

The other slime is written to be the most sus person ever. I will be really surprised if it was like lol you thought

not a spoiler, just a fun guess that will probably be wrong. But mods be crazy, ya know?

I could see this story ending up where she goes to where it's supposed to be sealed, not find anything and then see the other slime gal drying fruits in the back and canning them. Sus slime getting confused and saying, "Seal? Here? This is my home. Oh wait, there is this nice warm spot I use as my bed." and then watch as the "dark lord" walks into and out of the seal like it's not there.
