Which is fine, the author is quietly telling us the strength thing only works in combination. It also probably means she can't coordinate using a slime part alone while strengthening the human part with slime. Or at least she's not used to it. This author doesn't really outright tell us a lot of things, that's reserved for humor, but drops a lot of mcguffins and hints along the way.

It could also be how your brain actively suppresses the body from using its full potential because we might accidentally break our own bodies.
Her being a slime means that this limit doesnt exist and her slime probably “cushions” things a bit preventing her from accidentally breaking the body

The wolves were there too. I'd personally think it was them, because aren't her jellybean sized mini-slimes still around the mansion and we haven't had them set off alarms.
