Turns out OG!Jelly was the Dark Lord but didn't have her memories, so Will became the Hero by poisoning her and dumping her body in the forest.

Either I missed it or surprisingly, no one has yet mentioned the mistake on page 4 where Lake Fogsea is listed on the eastern spot when its supposed to be to the south, and Vitesfield Plains is in the south instead of the east. The map on page 3 correctly matches the description.
