It's hard to say at this point.
Maybe it's the kind of world where a level 1 fighter that goes around fighting slimes is actually worth 10 untrained men like the butler in battle.
Maybe the slimes are actually quite strong - look at them jumping around with no muscles or bones!
Maybe Lady Jelly was actually quite strong, having obtained a lot of power from murdering all those servants or from her noble bloodline.
Maybe it's the butler who is weak, as he is poor and doesn't eat well.

It's less that she's a slime, more that she's a saint. For Jelly to not get caught she must have the same magic, blessings, and aptitude for violence that kept the original safe from reprisals.

I agree with Echogirl. The sister likely has some medical condition that only a rich person can afford. So killing Jelly would mean the person who hired Will will "take care of her".

And knowing the type of scum who could be behind Will, it means both will be killed too.

Yeah. It's a staple of kidnapping plots. And if Jelly-slime saves and cures the sister, she will have Will's eternal gratitude,

Also, I didn't expect her to be that physically strong. Slimes in their world are not to be taken lightly.

It could also be that because she has no blood and has a slime interior, that she is capable of using 100% of the human body's physical strength.

Human only really use 30% of our maximum because if we used 100% all the time we'd tear our muscle's (also where those stories of a mother lifting a car comes from) so having a slime interior might allow her to use 100% of her muscles capabilities without the risk of damage or tearing.

That's not a creepy look.

Unlike the former, she really does have the heart of a saint. So to speak, since she doesn't actually have a heart.

That other slime specifies that the Slime only replaced the blood with slime. The most likely explanation is that Jelly herself was quite strong not just from those sadist things she keeps doing to her servant or killing random monsters in the forest during training but her "training" may just be physical training lmao. It's probably why she was picky with her steaks lol.

makes me wonder when we'll see the blonde haired little girl that was on the first chapter cover, either it's a relative or maybe another 'saintess' rival b/c their clothes were kinda similar
