At this point it should be a common sense that manga adaptations follow LNs, yet there's still people who still think that this one should follow WN for whatever reason even though we had The Egg already. And yes, WN and LN in case of Kumo divergent quite a lot from each other somewhere after the escape form the Middle Stratum, so you should also read it. Author says that (s)he rewrites more and more with each volume. And I'd say it's way better than WN, even though official translation suck (much worse than blastron's, but better than machine translation).

No way. It was described to not have a face at all only smooth head, and here not only it has face but also boobs, bot to mention that all arms in one place is retarded design by default. Not to say that manga design couldn't be better, but still.

it was described to not have "Facial Features" (i.e. nose, cheeks, etc) and a not very femenine body (body curves), but they have eyes, mouth and small boobs (remember all Taratects are female).
In Volume 6

They had to introduce their whole arm in the mouth to reach the real spider in their chest to eat and when Kumo wanted to give them a more femenine body she couldn't because that would need to break the shell.

They ended making these long loose dresses to not show their curveless bodies and the other 4 arms on their backs.

Hopefully Kumo understands after this to never leave herself vulnerable for no reason. Even if her mother didn't come out from the labyrinth, Kumo still went out of the labyrinth into the unknown without her other wills, which severely limits her. How would she have known that there isn't some kind of monster in the upper world that's stronger than the earth dragon? It's an unnecessary risk that she took for no reason. She should have just waited in her home until her wills were done and then went out of the labyrinth at full power to explore the unknown.

Of course manga version doesn't look much like department store mannequin, but it quite fit into "genderless bodies" category.
Also, there wasn't a mouth or anything, they "unhinge around where its jaw would be."

That's exactly what she did, she made so many modifications that in the end she quite literally remade their whole bodies from scratch.

@lolmaolol I think regardless if she went out or not, her mother would have attacked her, with the same results, heck, her mother could have outright killed her if it wasn't because she was already out of the dungeon with the first attack.

@Aureliano Isn't Kumo's home located in a maze of tunnels? Her mother would have had to shoot multiple blasts into the walls to burrow through all of that solid rock, considering she's way too big to fit in the tunnels. That would have given Kumo plenty of time to run away or think of a plan. It would've been much better than running into her out in the open.

as someone who's only read the web novel, this is super exciting to read. was worried knowledge of the storyline would somehow ruin the manga, but the great art, funny visual gags and slight twists on the story kept that from happening, and now it's wildly diverging from the web novel to boot so it's basically it's own thing again.
