So, why do I feel jealous of gay relationships when I’m a straight woman

Since you're asking on a manga forum, do you read a lot of BL or Yuri? If so I'd imagine everyone would be jealous of the relationships depicted in such stories since they're all so sweet and seemingly perfect regardless of your orientation

Humans seek happiness and warmth of others, it doesn't matter in what it appears.

Also, if you're talking about Anime and manga and media in general, it's probably because a lot of media romanticizes gay relationships as being more wholesome, communicative, and emotionally fulfilling compared to straight ones, which are often written with unnecessary drama. In reality, relationships- gay or straight aren't inherently perfect, they just depend on the people involved. You’re just seeing the good parts more often.

Being from a specific sexual orientation doesn't exclude you from enjoying fiction depicting different kinds of relationships, and unlike traditional romcoms where everything is irreally repetitive you can appreciate different forms of love. And well, they're more funny. Of course you can find a lot of drama and unwholesome stories, but they're usually not written by heteronormative male authors repeating the same stuff over and over.
This being said, bishonen > standard yaoi.

Why are they perfect, and actually cute?
Animango romanticizes gay relationships for the sake of fujoshis to jill off to. Also because BL artists usually make their men feminine, which is why a non zero amount of like shotacon content is yaoi.

im a trans woman and im also a pretty bad fujo. i think anime and manga fetishize alot of relationships, but looking in to a situation you cant have, it makes it easier to have rose tinted glasses and see them as more desirable. your also into men presumably so its like more men per square inch to like
