NGL though them walking out of the forest after beating that thing was a smidge satisfying so I'll give it a passing grade. Too bad we'll probably never get to the end ... not that it would be worth it?

1 wait patiently you or someone else re-translate the missing chapters
2 search in some agregator site the missing chapters that in this unexpected drama they don't care to delete

the translation purists are gonna get uppity but everyone reading knew this manga was gonna be dogwater, so a ghost stories kind of translation would really have added to the experience

Honestly, for my first draught of the translation, I tried to imitate the ridiculous machine translation, and make all the dialogue a joke - but nothing I wrote was even remotely as funny as "You're fired, dude".

In the end I thought if I put up an honest, serious translation, people could compare the two. I think it's pretty clear that my serious translation has not improved anything, because it just makes the dogturd level of the original manga even more obvious.

Poor Gaston, he deserves his own story more than the boring MC.

I'm confused. I use OCR tools to rip the text out of manga, and machine translators to help translate. (And I've been doing it for a lot longer than the term "MTL.")

Does that mean I'm violating 1.7? It's been a few years since I worked on anything, and usually we have a translator working with us, but...

Think you're fine, believe rule mainly refers to sites that take a manga page as input and dish out a translated manga page as output

Actually, given some of the absurd 70's jive-talking we had in the translation, it's very possible that these chapters got pulled by the mods for a violation of Rule 1.3.5 violation. That rule being, "Joke or troll releases are not allowed, except on April 1st."

(EDIT: Yes, I know a lot of people loved it, but if MD's staff was lax on this rule, then this would become a wide-spread issue, and it's bad enough there's too many piss-poor MTLs with absolutely no editing or even proofreading.)
