They have only shown the point of view of the MC and not his love-interest ("prolly" past but still is). She was drawn in a manner where nobody can guess what's her intentions are. That is like a trap drawn purposefully by the mangaka to lure in the readers and keep them hanging or garner attention. Though. if I consider her face during the parade, it looks like a good news (harem) to me.
and Yeah, if what you'all thinking about is true. Then by all means, include me too.

Hmmm, the previous manga version was following the LN and this version is following the WN. I'm not sure if I like this this version or not since the previous manga version was following the MC's point of view rather than the Elf girl's while talking about the Elf girl she was much more likable in the the other version since she wasn't a cunt in the beginning like this version is.

Still not a fan of this version. I really like the art of the last one, this one just doesn't suit my tastes.

why does everyone think this ones following the WN? This is what happened in the LN right, or am I wrong? The hero grabs her and kisses her immediately after publicly proposing, Wazu runs off, then she rejects the hero in front of everyone and the faction war between her and the hero which has been slowly building up behind the scenes finally kicks off. What exactly has happened that makes everyone so sure this is based off an unpublished version of the story? I'm confused.

@Meridis the thing is not that simple so the points here are:
- I know that in the LN they never really kissed she stopped him before and then one punch KO in front of everyone but Wazu was away when that happened.
- The LN is not translated into english so, personally, I don't know what really happen there
- Most people don't know that the author received various protest from the fans about the NTR part of the story and that that point in the LN were changed.
- There is a large batch of people that think that the WN, that is translated into english, is instead the LN.
- From how the scene is drawn SEEMS that they kiss and this make think that the manga follow the WN.
- Since the moment where all will be clarify is quite away people will still think that the manga follow the WN
- Since the LN is not translated and only a couple of differences between LN and WN are mostly know is not easy understand if this follow the LN or the WN
while keeping all of this in mind is clear that there will be always people that will say "the manga follow the WN"... personally I hope that follow the LN (the only concept of NTR make me sick) gave what is know about the difference between the LN and WN caused by the fans is logic suppose that the manga follow the LN, follow the WN basically mean that the fans may not follow it and cause an economical loss, plus I personally saw the WN and the sequence of events till now are different

To begin with, they face she can be seen as cool/cocky happy expression to the one at the kiss where we get only to see the smile which can be seen as "surprise" only when they are touring around the town does she has a Nostalgic/sad/guilt expression, but i will give you the point that we are still to know Aria POV.
If this go the WN route im out of this, i had my share of MC escapism already and not willing to go through that again.

It might be possible to interpret her expression as cool/cocky happy but that would clash with the expressions shown when she's with Wazu at the beginning of the chapter. If you consider it as a whole, it's easier to see that its a dower expression. Add the fact that, when she's further away from the cheering crowd, she doesn't try to smile and just looks down. When she's smiling after that, it's when they show her and Wazu's face gazing towards eachother, suggesting she saw him. Also note that that part is before the hero actually makes his request so it wouldn't be a reaction to it. If she had known this was what he was aiming for and agreed to it, her expression also wouldn't have dropped when he pulled her towards her. So you, me, and everyone here doesn't need to be so worried about her running off with the hero as she hasn't expressed any kind of happiness from him. Some of us are starting to act like Wazu.

Yeah, good point. I still find it odd when people get confused about WN and LN. How do you find out enough to worry but still don't know that the version your learning about is the WN? Also, since when do they publish manga based off of a WN, especially when LN is already published?
I mean, yeah, you both pointed out how they could make the mistake but c'mon, it's still a pretty big leap to think that the publisher would ignore the already edited version that has been distributed to the larger audience they're also targeting, misinterpret her expressions, jump to conclusions about her reaction and feelings in a story about a mc who keeps messing up his relationships with women because he jumps to conclusions about their reactions and feelings, and for it to happen in mass? wth...why is this the thing that's making me lose faith in humanity?!

secondly, the scene where they kissed, in WN Wazu is confirmed to see they were kissing in some alley, not implied
in LN, they were implied kissing in the balcony like in this chapter, but Wazu run away before he even see what really is going on
in WN, other than Aria, Wazu love stories is full of missunderstanding, in LN, Wazu love stories actually is more like romcom, with a lot of missunderstanding

Fuck that fucking saint bitch, fucking backstabber, also I hope the hero gets bisected. It doesn't matter if in the course of the journey she fell in love with the hero, the fact that that was sprung on him and she made no effort to either inform him or anything else makes her a bitch in my eyes.
