@twinklecake If we're talking a time period like this, a broken hymen pretty much is all they check for in regards to female virginity I guess. They treat those things like freshness seals or something, even though you can break them doing any number of non sexual activities. They can also heal entirely on their own sometimes. It has never been a useful indicator for anything other than the presence of an intact or broken hymen, but some people still treat them like indicators for other shit even now.

If you want to be really obtuse about things you could also say that given enough years of celibacy anyone could become a virgin again physically speaking, since all your cells would have changed by then? Pretty sure some people actually do put stock in that. On the other hand, we could say that nobody is a virgin because we've all been inside our mothers.
