Really dont like How the only praise for Haro was "the freedom of doing what i want no matter what" mainly because its a lazy way to reiterate what we already knew by the same character (ch1)

What i wanted to see was sensei explaining why his art sucked which would allow him to understand his barrier but not abandon the nudes, and i say this because It Will prob be the third Arc of Haro pondering why his painting is mid and thats tiring me Out

TLDR: Give Gao the protagonist role

I think I realized why I don't really enjoy the MC, and this might sound a little weird. But I think they should make this guy weirder. Like okay he likes figure drawing, but what about it specifically? I want this guy to gush over contrapasto, over human anatomy and how muscle and bone work. He's kind of this one trick pony of "I like x" without elaborating on it.
I'll be honest, this seems less like he actually likes nude drawing and just "I'm horny for this woman I saw once". Like okay dude, she's smoking hot, we get it.

I could sympathize with Haro's obsession with nudes if his drawings weren't so bland! It's like he is just drawing those nude statues and nothing more. Boring same body, boring same pose, over and over again.
Rei is not wrong in saying that he has the right to draw what he wants, only what he wants, but she could also say, "YOU SUCK DUDE! IMPROVE!".

Oh, talking about her, this appearance left a feeling that she only "went" there to praise Haro and trash talk other people to put him up.

I'm not tell people to stop reading this but... in case you don't know it exists, go read "Alabaster no Kisetsu".
It's short, unfortunately, but it's good and there's plenty of nude drawing.

Many Thanks for the chapter @princess_daphie. Apologies for the late response post, but IRL matters waylaid me from posting about this chapter when it was new.

It was nice to see Haro get his own small victory in the contest from the praise Rei Kamio gave his piece despite it not placing in the Top Ten. I also found the criticism she gave to Kazari's work interesting, in that what I gleaned from the phrasing of the criticism is that Kazari's work is too "clean," it is well executed, but it is beautiful and "clean" to almost the point of sterility. This, I think, is similar to what @Funky_Cosmonaut said in the discussion thread for Chapter 23.

Rei Kamio is 28 years old? That's interesting and cool to know; I did have her age pegged at somewhere in the late-20s, 30 years at most. This does mean though that she is 10 years older than Haro right now, assuming Haro is currently 18 years old presently.
