SEIN IS BACK!!! I knew it was coming, since the official twitter account has been posting the episode/chapter with Sein and his photo with Warrior Gorilla, but I didn't think it will be this soon.

For those that wanted Sein to meet Methode, I think you forgot about Genau. There was a scene where Genau and Stark were talking at night, and they were literally sound like husbands that are afraid of their respective wife lol.

It's unfortunate that Sein hasn't reunited with Warrior Gorilla in the 2 years (canon time) we haven't seen him. But it looks like Warrior Gorilla is the "elder brother" Schritt was talking about in ch 132. Their hair is similar enough. If true, also unfortunate because that means Sein will have to battle against him in the near future.

For now, the battle is shaping up to be on Frieren's party's disadvantage. Because the shadow warriors have number and geographical advantages (they are familiar with the ins and outs of the city) and not afraid to actually kill them. Beside Frieren not wanting to involve the civilians in their battle (and magic being too destructive to use in the midst of the crowd), I don't think Fern and Stark ever kill any human. We have only seen them kill demons.

Sein obviously had sensed Frieren's magic that's why he turned around from Walross. So he will be an unexpected variable for the shadow warriors. He will heal Stark, but for them to win this battle, Wolff the poison arrow user has to be neutralized first. I hope Sein can make Stark immune to poison for a set duration until Stark defeats Wolff.

Next, it will be Lore vs Sein as the two with Goddess magic. I don't know if Father Klematis can't use Goddess magic (and that's why he didn't save Walross' cat) or he specialized in using Goddess magic for battle.

Then after being healed by Sein, Stark will defeat Wolff. While Fern/Frieren will face Gazelle. In ch 133 Gazelle was implied to be able to deal with them as long as Wolff or Iris were there.

Aaaa so hype I can't wait 2 weeks for the next chapter 😭

Ok I'm calling it now

Nah, as some have already mentioned, it's the blacksmith/elder brother.

Sein returning only to, probably, find out his best friend is basically a cult member and their entire friendship was just a fake life cover is beyond sad.

Even if Gorilla only became a shadow warrior after leaving the village, which seems odd, its still going to be a heartbreaking reunion since it would mean Gorilla eventually gave up his dream of being a hero (probably because Sein didnt go with him).
Definitely a shadow implant from the start. The naming sense is also a bit too on the nose (Gorilla, Gazelle, Wolff, Walross, and Löwe).

That doesn’t mean their relationship was fake, though. Even his dream of becoming an adventurer might have been real, but unattainable due to his allegiance. The previously established shadow warriors also lived normal lives and got married.

Also makes me wonder what would have happened to Sein had he gone with Gorilla that day...
He would’ve been either killed or recruited, I guess. Likely the former.

So he can take an arrow clean through the shoulder, then just pull it out and start running like it's nothing? Or was there some healing magic going on there that I missed?
i mean, after what's going around and with how crazy the injury he gets, i won't be surprised anymore lol

Starting off with one of the most tragic events in the entire manga.

Tragedy averted. If only some plots were resolved that easily.

Just an arrow through the shoulder. Nothing important. It wasn't in the knee.

Unfortunate? For you, maybe.

Why can't you fire magic based on eyesight?
You can but it wont be precise since she doesnt Really see the guy that threw the arrow and the chances of harming civilians is high

Recently Frieren already barely escaped death two times. We will see later when the assassination plot advances how much more ressourceful and powerful Serie is compared to Frieren, because if she isn't, she will just die.

Actually, with how many times Frieren has been vulnerable since she is travelling with Fern and Stark, it is no wonder that there are nearly no elves. There are mortal dangers everywhere, the demon king tried to genocide them, they don't make a lot of children... Only the fittest survived, Frieren is relatively strong and recluse, Serie is supposed to be a monster and in a mostly safe place, and Kraft, well since he has been a hero and lived for so long, power-wise he should be at least relative to Himmel.

I feel like you assume an arrow is poisoned from the start. They should have checked immediately (if they can?)

Ok I can’t be the only who’s noticed Flamme’s weirdly big chin on the last colored page right?
