As someone else pointed out that's usually CIA Spooks and special teams. Fun fact, the CIA isn't technically part of the military, which is why they're always doing shit without congressional oversight and usually getting away with it.Sein meets a bunch of the new Mages, but they are creepy teen Ubel and hair-loli Sense. No chance he gets to meet hot middle-aged woman Methode? boooo. I want to see Sein's "AWOOOOOGA" moment.
Lineal getting hyped up means either she's going to get merc'd for power scaling, or she's a traitor! How else does she get those profiles of all the shadow warriors?
That's just the Press Release version. The US Military violates international laws on war crimes all the time. Sometimes accidentally, but often on purpose. Targeting civilians, attacking food sources, use of outlawed weapons like white phosphorous bombs, political assassinations, coup d'etat, anything goes. They even have a Law that states if any member of the US Miltary is tried for war crimes by the ICC, the US will Invade the Netherlands in retribution.
My point wasn't that the US doesn't let war crimes happen, because of course it does, but like, some random E-4 isn't allowed to do whatever they want just because they believe it to be for the good of the country. They absolutely will get thrown in jail or used as a scapegoat, even if it's a US prison after an internal investigation rather than handing them over to a foreign body.
